There are various types of steel structure buildings, among which the portal frame steel structure is one. Steel structures built using this method are referred to as portal frame steel structures.
This form of construction is the most common; it offers structural flexibility and can be designed as either single-span or multi-span structures. The specific construction plan will be professionally customized based on key factors such as the project's geographical location, climatic conditions, and load requirements.
The columns are not directly embedded into the ground.
When pouring concrete: anchor bolts are pre-embedded.
After the concrete solidifies, the base plate of the column aligns with the exposed bolts.
Workers then tighten the nuts to secure the structure.
This ensures that the building is firmly fixed to the ground and will not shift or collapse.

The main frame is composed of welded H-shaped steel, which supports the weight of the building and withstands wind and snow loads.
It is the core part of the structure.

High-strength bolts are used to connect beams to columns and beams to beams;
columns and beams or beams to beams are not welded, but connected with very strong bolts.
This connection method is both firm and reliable, allowing quick installation and adjustment on site,
more convenient and efficient than welding, and also facilitates future disassembly.
On the main frame of the roof and walls, a series of small spaced beams, called purlins, need to be installed.
Purlins are cold-formed, saving materials and reducing costs, while being lightweight.
Their main function is to support and fix the exterior wall/roof panels and transfer loads to the main frame.

Walls and roofs can use color-coated corrugated steel sheets or insulated sandwich panels, connected to the purlins with self-drilling screws.
This forms the building envelope system, providing wind and rain resistance, insulation, and other functions.

The choice of doors and windows is very flexible, depending on the client's needs and budget:
• UPVC: Made of high-strength plastic steel, good insulation, affordable, and rust-resistant.
• Aluminum Alloy: Lightweight and strong, resistant to deformation, modern appearance, and durable.
• Light Steel: Frames made of very thin steel, extremely strong and durable, with good fire resistance.
Door and window sizes, styles, and colors can all be customized, with reserved openings for installation.
